Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GameView ("GameView," "we," "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the GameView digital signage platform at gameviewmanager.com, including its optional third-party integrations.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service you have signed up for:

• Account information — your name, email address, business/venue details, and login credentials, provided when you or your integrator create an account.
• Content you create — the images, layouts, schedules, and "tapestries" (signage playlists) you build in the platform.
• Device & usage data — information about the displays and controllers connected to your account, and basic logs used to operate and secure the service.
• Google account data — only if you choose to connect Google Drive (see the next section).

2. Google Drive integration

Connecting Google Drive is entirely optional. If you connect it, you authorize GameView to access your Google account using the following scope:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly — read-only access to files in your Google Drive.

We use this access for a single purpose: to read image files from the specific Drive folder you link to a tapestry, so that new or updated images in that folder are automatically synced into your GameView Asset Library and displayed on your signage. Specifically, we:

• Read the metadata and contents of image files in folders you explicitly link;
• Store a copy of each linked image in your GameView Asset Library so it can be moderated, approved, edited with our design tools, and shown on your displays;
• Read a file's change signature (checksum) to detect when a linked image has been updated or removed.

We do not read, index, or copy files outside the folders you link, and we never modify, delete, or write anything to your Google Drive. Access is read-only.

• To provide, operate, and maintain the GameView platform and the displays you control;
• To sync, moderate, approve, and display images you bring in from a linked Google Drive folder;
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
• To communicate with you about your account and service-related matters.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information or Google user data. We share information only:

• With service providers (for example, hosting and email delivery) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, solely to operate the service;
• With people within your own organization that you have granted access (for example, an approver reviewing incoming signage art);
• When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of GameView, our users, or the public;
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to the same commitments in this policy.

6. Storage & security

Data is stored on secured servers and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Google OAuth tokens are stored server-side and are never exposed to the browser or to other customers. We apply access controls and industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Retention & deletion

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. For the Google Drive integration:

• You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from the Google Drive page in your GameView account. Disconnecting revokes GameView's access token and stops all syncing.
• You may also revoke access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Images already synced into your Asset Library remain there until you delete them, so your signage does not break; you can remove them individually at any time.
• On account closure, or on request, we delete your personal data and stored Google user data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your choices & controls

• Connect or disconnect Google Drive whenever you like;
• Choose exactly which folders are linked and to which tapestry;
• Require approval before any incoming image is shown;
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

9. Children's privacy

GameView is a business product not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to account holders.
